MeeTree is the love child of Maria Justice. Born and raised in Pittsburgh PA Maria has been passionate about helping others from a very young age. Around 11 years old upon her first major glimpse at homelessness & poverty during a trip to our nation’s capital Maria promptly took off her gloves and winter accessories, bringing them to a man pushing a shopping cart of his belongings- whose clothes were threadbare. Moments like these shaped her life into one of wide eyed awareness and compassion. In grade school she fought to protect the rights of others through words and actions; placing first in her division in the YWCA Racial Justice Student Essay Contest sponsored by the NAACP aimed at stopping racism. Presently residing in Ohio, working full time & continuing her education part time; Maria also mentors youth through The Orphan Foundation of America- an excellent organization that you may learn about here.
